A separating planet can cause separation to anything it affects. If a upper level lord has both manifesting and separating qualities, then in a lower separating planet separation will happen. but if the planet has only manifesting qualities, t hen the lower level can never separate it.
@ernst you said" if the planet has only manifesting qualities, then the lower level can never separate it., " so if rahu aspects the moon for instance, and moon is his youth avashta, in moon rahu period, rahu cant separate moon? what if he is joined with moon is that going to affect this rule? and does that rule do not apply to venus rahu period ( taking your answer to me in the previous question about rahu separating venus in rahu /venus as well as venus /rahu) ?
@sharonsegall so moon can give for being youtuful, it can be seperated due to rahu influence. So both things can happen. Inmoon rahu there is a chance for seperation. What else is rahu doing in the chart will decide for sure.
did you have any video about the dasas that gives specific rules like the one you mentioned above? i didnt come across one, so far with this course, but it would be a great help to understand the dynamic between the maha dasa and all the sub dasas .
