Hello fellow astrologers. I always hear that it is good to have malefic planets in the Bhavas/signs considered more negative, such as the 6th, 8th and 12th, but let's say Saturn or Mars is in the 6th or 12th house--doesn't that also mean that the native quite possibly will have very strong enemies as well? Thanks!

Not at all, you want malefics in the trik houses, which are 3/6/11 and benefics on angles and trines. This creates a stronger horoscope, a stronger and more lucky person. The opposite does the opposite. malefics in 8/12 can be really ruinous if they are in bad shape.

@ernst What about when benefics are in good dignity in 3/6/11?

Thanks,

S.

What I do with regards to finding most named yogas is seeing if there are benefics in angles and trines. If that is the case, good chance of a named yoga. Also, if majority of planets are in angles/trines that is a named yoga, forget what though. Tambour yoga?

They will form some good yogas, but they don't strengthen the integrity of the chart as do malefics t here.
