Regarding planetary strength

Hello fellow astrologers. I am looking at a chart where Mercury has an enemy dignity because of being in the 8th rashi, however it is stationary, which I was just reading gives the planet a lot more strength. It is also opposite its own sign, Gemini, in the second rashi. I would assume that this gives mercury a better chance of dealing with enemies or problems coming from the 8th house than normal. I know there are other things to consider, but just generally, what do you think? Thanks!
