Hi Zumrut,
thank you! My mother is well fortunately, she is astrologer, naturopath and buddhist, which helped a lot, she could handle the illness with changes she made in life, she is fine today regarding this:-)!! She was 32 when it happened, this is quite young for cancer and therefore cancer can be more aggressive.
Thank you for sharing your perspective on this topic. I don’t know if I even wanna know my death information but I guess you cannot escape it when you are an astrologer. And working with f.ex. Medical astrology can also lead to a healthier life which is absolutely desirable. Wow yes, how to handle these kinds of information about the really “bad” things. That’s a topic at its own! I wonder if there is some info about it here.
i will check Mars and come back to you:)
Be well,
Tamara
For fire also look at Virgo, and if this was a prophecy/prediction about something cataclysmic/accident, maybe it's in the D30.
One thing that has intrigued me are some lines from the Yoga Judgement course. I think Ernst said these come from Prasna Marga:
"Yoga means that which joins or yokes
Purusha is that which has a body
Planetary Yoga connects purushas with Karmaphala (Result of Actions)
Planetary permutations indicate how purusha is linked to Karmaphala"
also from 'The Eagle and the Lark'
"the dynamic planet makes itself felt by way of an aspect and thus connects to the chart; it then symbolically transmits information or energy and, finally, disconnects"
One of the twists in this story is the nature of "body". What does it mean to be embodied, disembodied, without a body, beyond the body, and transcendent types of body? Depending upon the nature of how one is relating to body will correspondingly change how one experiences or how one does not experience, the results of actions. This would seem to indicate that being in a body has karma attached to it and thus is already a result of some activity in some realm.
If we look to the progression of elements we can see the sequence from subtle ether to the concrete earth. In the Varga courses it is discussed how the basic karmic potentials are constellated in the ether, then we are blown from one group to the next by the air, we yearn and burn to connect to them through fire, through cohesion of water we bond to them and with the earth it is a concrete experiential "reality". Previous incarnations interaction with karmaphala draws the shadow that becomes the basic map in the ether and so a wheel of continuous action and reaction is created, the basic samsaric condition.
Most of all the yogic techniques are oriented to how to relate to this process. Astrology as a purely informational transmission lowers much of the surprise and confusion of why and how that create excess anxiety which typically causes one to create more actions that become more causes for future events. So when you know such and such will happen or even could happen you will already begin to relate to it whereas if it is experienced as a shock then trauma could delay integration.
One thing I always remember Ernst saying about trust is that it is knowing that one can emotional handle the range of potentials in a given situations. So if one accepts the potential of something happening and relates to that possibility emotional resources will accompany this recognition and one can slowly begin to trust life and the way one is relating to it more and more. So surrendering to the choiceless aspect of our predicament yet staying cognizant creates the space to clearly navigate the field of experience and playing with that paradox changes how we experience reality.
