Hi @ernst

I have been using/playing this new method of rasi aspects for some time now.

Can you explain the reasoning and concept behind astronomically correct rasi aspects? It has something to do with mirroring?

Thanks,

Scott

I am curious as to which new method you are referring. How new, and where has Ernst been teaching it?

Thanks,

S.

@mitryendra80

So instead of Aries aspecting Leo, Aries aspects Taurus. Along with Aquarius and Scorpio.

Taurus aspects Aries not Capricorn.

Scorpio aspects Libra not Cancer.

ect.

The dual signs aspect each other as usual.

There is an option under the Jaimini options in the new Kala using this for Yogas and for calculating drig dasa.

@scott-m-19 Thanks.

I would like to see the research and theory behind this interpretation of aspects. I like this kind of thing. But I am not interested in predictions.

@mitryendra80 The basis of the method is based on the dual rasis aspecting a sign for each element. The fixed and moveable signs don't do an aspect to a sign in each element. The sutra could be interpreted to be the fixed sign on the side. This is something currently being researched by some Jaimini researchers. But there are no conclusions as of yet. I'm not sold on this although it makes sense based on the elements logically needing an aspect from the others. You can use this and test on charts of people you know well to see which one aligns more based on the Jaimini techniques.

@suzanstars Ernst told me to not use them and Use the 'traditional' aspects. He has it for research purposes in Kala.

@scott-m-19 I know it's just for research purposes. Like I said, I don't buy it. I like the traditional method.
