I had a lucid dream last night, and one of the things that I remember was that it struck me in the dream that I should have been a dancer. I even reflected on it in the dream, saying to myself that I now will have to come back in another reincarnation to fulfill that mission.
So I got curious. What would you concider being the indications for a dancer?
The Moon obviously, or rhythm. Mercury, if we are talking about a dancer giving public performances, and not for example a temple dancer (that would be Jupiter, I guess). Some kind of entertainer; I guess that goes also for "serious" art forms?
- The Lagna must be envolved, since it´s an activity strongly related to the body.
- The 5th for self expression and creativity.
- 7th for the public
Anything more than come to your mind?
I´m hesitant whether I have a sufficiently strong connection to the Lagna for a dancer. (Not that I plan to become one, like professionally, at 56 years of age, haha!). Low Dig Bala in the 7th; well, it´s ruling the AK, so maybe...

In any case I was so lost in life that I never ever concidered such a career, and although I love dancing - mostly funny dancing - on parties etc and can be quite a showman dancing, I never even thought about taking dance classes, so... Better luck in next lifetime, if this was meant to be?

I'm listening to examples of Artha, Kama, Moksha yogas, specifically Dorthy Hamell (sp?), a ice-skater. Ernst mentioned 3rd house of skills, and dancing as a Venusian thing.
@j0sh4rp3 The dream I had correlates with me discovering the full importance of Venus being the lighthouse and saviour of my chart, in the dharmic 9th house, ruling the 5th and 12th. Hardly a career planet though; only if you consider the Sun in GF dignity as "strong"; yes, then Venus becomes a career planet for being the Sun´s D9 lord. I guess that makes the call for dancing more like a whisper in my chart, at least as a career. It´s there, but very vaguely.
And yes, my 3rd cusp is activated too. But. It didn´t happen, and wouldn´t happen neither as it seems. Maybe next lifetime! I´ll use this one to warm up! 🙂
