Hi @ernst and group, listening to Jamini Sutras I, when dealing with KE as a health risk, what methods can we advise the person to heal their emotions or release pent-up emotions?

Ernst, you mention diaphragmatic breathing, that's an easy thing to incorporate to a routine.

Bach flowers would also help.

Any other method that people can do themselves?

Thank you

Hi silvia, I have been researching about it recently and few methods came up as main techniques used by mental health practitioners which also can be practiced by oneself and there is quiet a bit literature about them, of the few CBT(cognitive behavioral therapy) and DBT (dialectical bhavioral therapy ) have shown to have great results and are quite broadly used.

@sharonsegall Thank you! I'll look these up.

I'm interested in people who don't have acute anxiety or depression as emotional issues, but more people who have like "emotional blindness", sometimes Ketu is so inwards that the person doesn't even realize they are emotionally restrained. Or when Cancer sign is afflicted, the person leans towards apathy and a feeling of "meh" without being fully depressed. Mustard bach essence works great for the Cancer type.

CBT techniques work for mild cases like these as well?

Yes indead,  mental illness are extreems of certain behavioural traits that stems from childhood conditioning. using those thechniqes can be and is beneficial for all of us as they use  tecniqes to strengthen healthy positive behavioural traits. So it goes hand in hand with the lajjitadis avashtas.

And just to add to that, apathy or avoidance might be usually a sign of abandandment or rejection issues and even when mildly expressed, exposing  the root cause of it and kind of go through it with a client realy helps a person recognize and understand what is their thought process and through that make the nesesary behaviural changes that lead to more productive healthy functioning . I also use is the attachment style theory. Look into that, it will give you a tremendous insight into people's behavioral emotional patterns. And help you  make your readings so much more rich and informative.

Srishti has been doing this www.changethatchit.com for about 2 years now and I have NEVER seen anyone make as fast a progress towards happiness and emotional clarity as she has in the last 2 years.
