Dear Ernst and everyone,
Planets in trines and angles empower a horoscope and give a more 'easy' flow to life (all other factors equal).
If we see most padas in the Rasi chart in angles and trines from the lagna pada than I assume we can say something similar? That having padas in trines/angles from the lagna pada empowers the horoscope in a similar fashion?
when i review a chart (the Rasi) i always start with the position of the planets (yogas), angles, trines, moveable, fix, dual, dignities, lagna lord just to get the feel of it..

@scott-m-19 that is true , infact, ernst has covered that somewhere in the jaimini audio course but dont remember where exactly
Yes, this is covered in relationships between the Padas section. Primary is relationship between 1st and 7th Pada. I have found this useful, especially with people who have 6, 8 or 12 relationships between 1st & 7th. If people know disruption and hostility are par for the course when they show up it is much less destabilizing and then they can start to focus on how to minimize the disruptions and even how to use disruptions as an advantage to assuming the larger goals of the chart in general. Ernst says you can analyze any Pada from Lagna Pada to see the relationship to that rasi. This is not a technique I have concentrated on much other than the 1st and 7th. Has anyone else used this extensively? Any notable observations?
