Hello,
In the spirit of "Everything we look at from the Pada, we look at from the Upapada. Since everything we look at from the Svamsa (AK), we look at from the Pada, therefore everything we look at from the AK, we look at from the Upapada.". Does it also apply to:
- Yogas from the AK, 1st and 7th Lords (Sutra 1.3.30)
- Relationships of Padas (sutra 1.3.18-21)
- Influence between Bhavas and the Lagna and Atmakaraka (Sutra 1.3.37 - 42)
Also, re: Relationships of Padas (sutra 1.3.18-21), can you confirm that:
- Once the Pada and 7th’s pada have been determined (always counting forward), you then use the count forward if masculine signs or backwards if feminine signs rule to determine if it's in an angle, trine or other?
Thank you!
Mona

No, do not use it for those three things.
you only count backwards or forwards for house placements 1-12, not for angles or trines.
