Hi all, quick question about one of the tables in the Jaimini screen, namely Jaimini's second strength where we look at whether a sign is being manifested by Mercury, Jupiter or its lord. Until now I was only using Rasi aspects manually and only just came across this table. Can anybody help me understand what I'm missing here, in certain cases the rasi aspects are shown the way I understand them, but in others I see a sign being manifested by a planet that is in the sign right next to it, or a sign not shown as being manifested by its lord even though there is a Rasi aspect. In the example chart I've attached:
- Leo - not shown as being aspected by its lord, the Sun, in Aries
- Aries - shown as being aspected by Jupiter, even though Jupiter is in neighbouring sign Taurus.
Cancer - shown as being aspected by its lord, the Moon, even though Moon is in the sign of Leo.
- Capricorn - not showing an aspect from Jupiter in Taurus.
- Aquarius - shown as being aspected by its lord Saturn sitting in Capricorn.
What am I missing here? The Rasi chart is calculated using the default Kala settings.
Hi Nadya, there is a jaimini option for aspects, one takes the trine sign for moveable and fixed aspects, the other takes the sign next to it. The latter is an area of research and nothing that has been taught.
