While I know that Mars is an enemy to Saturn, I'm thinking that when Mars is exalted and aspecting Saturn it would not be as harsh to Saturn as if it were in another sign. The thought is, by analogy, that when someone is a welcomed guest in another's home, they are less likely to harm the owner of the house. Any thoughts on this?

Exaltation gives one kind of strength. if mars is exalted he willnot hurt satrun as much on the level of exaltaion, but if mars is close to the sun, he will hurt saturn a lot on the level of chestha bala. there is a lot that goes into this. i will teach it eventually, don't jump to conconclusions or you will make partial judgments in quality.
