Hi Ernst,
I am in the lajjitadi avastha section of Mastering Avasthas.
You have clearly said we can improve L. avasthas. But when going over a starved Jupiter, you basically said its their fate to suffer, to be miserable, and to waste time. And that it isn't even an astrologer's place to tell them how to improve this avastha (or improve anything)... or something to that effect. Please forgive me if I have misinterpreted.
OK, my Jupiter is starved by being in a Mercury sign as well as by being with Saturn. In fact, its wedged in the middle of a Saturn-Mars mutual-starvation conjunction in an angle that rashi-aspects all the other angles (Your talk on Mars-Saturn conjunction is very accurate and revealing! I guess there is no remedy for that either).
Jupiter is my lagna lord as well as my pada lord, swamsha lord, and sun sign lord, and it is also debilitated in the d16 (in an 8th house misery yoga with Saturn) and d30. And I am ONLY sharing these facts right now because I was REALLY prepared to pay attention to "improving" a starved Jupiter! But now I guess its time to go eat worms instead??
Thanks :),
S.
maybe helps to remember that a starved Jupiter may interpret the teachings in a wrong way or take longer to understand the wisdom behind them. So dont get scared, or discouraged - instead keep listening. You may require a bit more will and consciousness to work to discover your inspirations and stick to them.
This teachings are not to make you feel bad about yourself but to help finding what can be improved and how- with all honesty, and even if it requires more work or the improvements can be tiny- being aware and try it will be better than letting yourself to the worms! but the choice is yours-
if your believe system may be wrong anyway- then choose to believe that you can improve and try it; there’s going to be many things that hurt through the course and you have to prepare yourself to be brave, face the truth and accept the challenge of improving yourself with or without a starved group of planets. Astrologer can not give you the will or the focus, it’s your job and if you’re listening to this, then you already started - stop finding reasons to not have faith in yourself might be the very first thing to do w a starved Jupiter- and sorry if I responded to this- mine is in a Mercury sign as well btw ✅
we can do this 😉
Thanks for the sound perspective. My Rahu is in the 9th in a sattvic sign so during Rahu maturity it is probably my job now to embrace having more faith.
Yes I have been delving deeper by skipping ahead to the "Heart of Parashara" intermediate level of L. avasthas after hearing this to get maybe some deeper, more helpful insight.
Just Mercury starving Jupiter, in and of itself, is fairly common.
Your talk on Mars-Saturn conjunction is very accurate
Hi
Are you referring to the YouTube video or any of the course videos?
Thanks
If it makes you feel any better, I had a panic attack which quickly rolled into an existential crisis when I listened to the video about Mars being starved by Mercury. Mars is my AK and is in a Parivartana yoga with Mercury.
