So i'm looking at my aspects chart. Some of the aspects are single digit aspects are these counted or are we really looking at the higher rangers where we are like 20 and up?

If you look at the Drishti Yuti table for the Lajjitaadi Avasthas, you'll notice the correspondence between "Aspected Planets in Rasi" and the Lajjitaadi Avasthas calculations. I've attached an example where even the small aspects are counted. The main difference is same Lord conjunction. For example, in the attached file, Mercury only aspects Mars by 9 points but the Lajjitaadi Avasthas table shows 60, I assume that's because Mars is in Gemini and Mercury is in Virgo in this chart and Mercury is an enemy to Mars.
@mona..ah I see. I don't have Kala..I have basically been using the aspect chart from free chart on vault of heavens. Ernst said that was okay to use in his lecture..
@kkvera1 Actually, in his master course, he teaches without looking at the table and encourages us to do the same. I've been cheating ????
I'm pretty sure planet in a natural enemy sign is always hit to 60 virupas, no matter what the planetary aspect.
@yonathanh correct! I was overly focused on aspects but it’s because it’s in the sign of Mercury that it takes a 60 points hit in my example.
