Massive iron deficiency in the blood, the body is unable to absorb iron.

Doctors are confused, the only way at moment is to try to add the solution directly to the person's blood.

So far, not much help. Seems really bad.

Opinions that can cause such a blockade that a person no longer receives iron from food or medicine?

Maybe somebody have some experiences, are there any rare or uncommon ways to go through such a blockade or remove it (Ayurveda)? What does Ayurveda say about such of situation when body have serious lack of iron and body just can´t absorb it from food or iron supplement?

Thanks for ideas!

Besides showing low iron scores in the blood, what are all of the symptoms that this person is having?

Also, is the person male or female, and how old, and a whole list of their regular diet and medications or supplements etc...

This is a man, 74 years old, has had some kidney problems for about the last 2-3 years and has had heart failure problems.

Breathing problems developed. The condition was examined at the hospital and the main indication came from kidney function, and a blood test showed very low levels of iron.

Surprisingly, it was very difficult to raise iron levels, and an iron-rich diet and iron supplements did not help.

Doctors were surprised when stubbornly the body simply ignored the possibility of extracting iron.

The problem has developed in recent years and has never caused problems in life.

It would be good to find at least some hypothetical ideas about that what kind of thing could block the iron so strongly that the composition of the blood has become very poor.

Is he taking any medications? specifically is he taking proton pump inhibitors used to control acid reflux?
