what governs kidneys? Venus, rasi of libra or Leo?
also any literature on food and allergies? Somebody I know developed allergy to ginger and cardamom( they belong to same family of plants) during specif dasa only.This is all so fascinating.

Venus. Ernst also has Kidneys listed under Leo in his anatomy course (and Taurus for the meridian).
My brother recently had Kidney stones and much difficulty with his procedure to break them up (of course, he didn't ask me which dates he should have it done). He has Sun, Saturn, and Rahu conjunct his Venus (in Capricorn) ????
That's not my only example but figured I'd throw that one out there.
If I have to go by One of Ernst's talk of Libra and exchange,kidney does the same thing of filtering,reabsobtion of electrolytes and balancing water homeostasis.This feels like libra.
The signs are used more anatomically and not so much for function. Removing waste and balancing fluids does sound Libran, because its ruling planet governs it. But anatomically, they're located pretty high up on the torso and not too close to the pelvic region. Hope that makes sense!
