In the Vara video you explain that Vara is calculated from Yamakoti and therefore everywhere on earth has the same Vara and that Vara should not be calculated localy. This is interessting. My question is another. In Kala at the Muhurta screen its does not give under Vara a weekday but instead says Sun. Does this mean the Vara is Sunday? And if it would say Jupiter its Thursday? Mercury Wednesday? Etc.

Kala is telling us what graha is ruling the Vara for the time, date and location entered. If you click the button to advance the Vara, you will see the ruler change at sunrise Yamakoti, but since you are probably in a different location you will see a different local time. So, the ruler of the Vara is skewed from sunrise for local calendar days, but still changes globally from sunrise Yamakoti.

Varas are of the sun, moon, mars, etc. they are days of the planets. In norse its moon day, Monday, tyr day, Tuesday, odin'sday Wednesday, thor day Thursday, freya day Friday and i cant remember what norse deity was Saturday right now.

The vara changes at Sunrise at yamakoti.
