Venus conjunct the sun can make one listen to their 'advisors' more than being the king to lead their own lives. Not necessarily bad, but I have seen that. On the other hand, Sun with venus can sacrifice lesser pleasures for a greater goal. Sun/Venus combos make a charming personality though, too. I sometimes call Venus/Sun combos the 'hollywood' combo....both good and bad.

I have this combination in Libra with Ketu. In my experience, the people I'm closest to in life believe that the kingdom I'm building isn't worthy of existing within their kingdoms. In other words, they place my kingdom in the lowest hierarchy in comparison to the "superior" kingdoms they've built and therefore expect me to make more sacrifices for their kingdoms/ give up my kingdom in order to manage the things they don't want to deal with in their kingdoms. And of course, I do it, because Libra Sun makes me feel as if I don't have any other options.

@kam that is the real description of Sun/Venus in Libra and it does sound like low shadbala Sun with Venus. Every time we start to build our kingdom life is pushing something or someone on us, which we cant shake off. I often wonder how Yogananda really felt in his work with his weak shadbala Sun.

@kam I have experienced the same disregard and “belittling“, as Ernst puts it, for my values and how I live my life (I’m vegan and a democrat), especially from my parents and one sibling, while at the same time they all want me to fix everything in their lives for them. The issue is of course not with them but with our strong Venus that wants to  be of help, win-win, and consequently we feel bad when we say “no”.  My husband has Sun Venus but in Sagittarius, and not only is his favorite and first word when asked “no“, but he has almost no awareness of other people‘s preferences.

@sattvala It's not so much that I feel bad, I more so feel really annoyed haha, but I do get belittled and accused of being selfish if I don't step up and after a while of this sort of peer pressure I do end up feeling ashamed of myself and my lack of perceived value by others. I think the slight variance comes because of Ketu and Sun ashaming Venus in my chart. So my Venus has the agitation from the Sun along with the shame from Ketu and the low shadbala Sun.
