Hello @ernst,

Throwing this out there...

Is there anyway to cast a prashna for rectifying a chart? Like, the astrologer casting a Prashna to see if they have the correct ascendant in the natal chart. Are there any Prashna methods to determine the birth details?

Perhaps a far fetched idea...But worth the try!

Hi Scott-M-19

Just adding in my inputs,

Sometimes, if birth time is not known and only birth date, I bring my mind to emptiness, let the intuition guide me, give me the strong desire to cast the birth chart and that time I use it as birth time. Than, I do further predictions on lagna, D9 and other divisional charts to do fine tuning or confirmations with the individual.

@ruchi

So you are using the birth date, and intuiting the time?

You are not using prashna?

@Scott-M-19, Prashna is done only when the question is serious, strong desire is there.

So, the BTR is done using prashna principle. It works amazingly. Do give it a try. Thanks.

@ruchi Okay, so to be clear, you are using Prashna in the moment to read the individual's life as a general Prashna? You are not using Prashna to find their natal birth information?

@Scott-M-19, I am using Prashna to find natal birth information. Once you have used the technique, you can save the birth time in birth information.

To be clear, I give you an example,

there is Person X: birth day known, birth time not known.

step 1) So just keep your mind clear, no thoughts, open to inspiration, ideas and when you have the strong urge to do the birth reading, it could be middle of night or day, immediately cast the chart with the birth date provided but use the time when you made the chart as birth time.

Step 2) Do the confirmations on D1 by predicting and confirming with the individual.

Step 3) Do the confirmation on other divisional charts.

Step 4) Save the birth time as confirmed birth time.

Summary: Only birth time is taken from this method but birth day, birth place as provided by the native. Once confirmations are done on rasi, divisional charts, you can save this as birth time for the rest of the person's life.
