In Brihat Samhita Varaha Mihira speaks in the Chapter about eclipses about Rahu but does not really mention Ketu there. I think he m,entioned once that there is the north and south node if I remember correctly. Why does he not mentions Ketu while he describes the effects of the eclipses?
Then later in the chapter called Ketu ((Subramanya Sastri translation(is there also another one)) he speaks of so mayn Ketus. What is he talking about? Why he uses Ketu in, as it appears, different way then the north and south node of the Moon?
Kind regards

Ketus are comets. In respect to eclipses the results are for both rahu and ketu.

Also, ketu simply means a flag. So the comets are seen a flags in the heavens.
