Say rahu and ketu fall In someone's Third and night house axis  From the Laguna And fourth and 10th cusp Conjunct them. So now Do we only counsil them on the conjunct 4th and 10th cusp as always or also on the 3rd 9th axis from the lagna? Even tho those cusp don't conjunt them.

Is my question clear? Thanks

both. you can read rahu and ketu for EVERY HOUSE, what is the closest angle? what is the closest of 4/8/12? what is the closest trine? the closest 3/7/11? all these things become pertinent. so if joined the 10th cusp, its closest cusp is the 10th, but out of 1/5/9, its closest is 9th.

That seems kinda advanced

1. When we say that Rahu in the 10th gives rise and success during its period, is this referring to Rahu being placed in the 10th sign from the Lagna, or does it mean Rahu conjunct the 10th cusp, even if that cusp falls in the 9th sign from the Lagna?

2. Regarding the Jaimini Bandhan Yoga — is it seen based on house placements (signs from the Lagna), or do we consider the exact cusps too? I know houses make more sense traditionally, but do cusps function similarly in such yogas?

3. When analyzing the position of the Lords of Rahu and Ketu — whether they are in good houses (angles/trines: 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th, or 5th, 9th) or bad houses (6th, 8th, 12th) — do we assess this from the Lagna, or from Rahu and Ketu themselves?

For example, if from the Lagna, Rahu's lord is placed in the 5th house, but from Rahu itself, its lord falls in the 8th house, then which one should take more precedence in interpretation?"*

Just in case Ernst doesn't respond, I'll write what I've learned from him.
2. I believe all yogas (including Jaimini) are assessed from the lagna, not house cusps. This would answer #1

3. Great question. I'd like to know this as well. I'd assume from the lagna and not from the nodes

Yes, yogas are meant to be looked at with respect to rasis, not cusps. Cusps are simply points that represent something concrete. Rasis as counted from lagna have special relationships to the lagna and so their formations cause yogas to the person, to the lagna.
