Nodes: back-and-forth nature

Are there any murtha, transit or dasa skill that can help us predict the cycles of rahu and ketu? Example, 10th cusp rahu may be back and forth between intense action and couchpotato. Like a pendulum (nodes around moon).
   In Ernst words, I’m careful with definition of the nodes but its seems it is either head-forest-rahu or tails-castle-ketu. Back and forth.

It would be helpful to be able to schedule periods of what to focus based on rahu-ketu when giving readings right? I suspect mars transit over Rahu creates headstrong period also given the dignity. But there must be more for predicting?
