In whole house sign Mars in Cancer, Rahu in Leo

In bhava cusps Mars and Rahu in Leo

When do you use whole house signs vs bhava cusps?

If you are looking at the maturation of Mars, do you look at WHS or BC?

If you are looking for conjunctions, if WHS does not have any but BC does, which do you use?

Does this make sense?

Planets do not change signs using the bhava cusps vs the whole house signs. They are in the same sign. The sign you see on the house in the bhava cusps is the sign the bhava cusp is in, NOT THE SIGN THE PLANET IS IN. for that, look at the whole sign chart.

Don't every use a bhava chart. Use only the whole sign chart and see what cusps a planet shares a sign with to see what cusps that planet affects. Cusps are important, houses based on bhava cusps are not.

Thats all there is to it.

@ernst Thanks for clarifying this for me, as I have never used cusps yet.

To make sure I am accurately assessing, and you have my chart,

Lagna is 28:17 VI

Rahu is 04:02 GE

I have GE & SA axis = balance abilities and effort with purpose.

When looking at Rasi it is KE 4th & RA 10th, but looking at house cusps it is KE 3rd & RA 9th.

Is this when I use the house cusps and read the 3rd, 9th description?

Does this make sense, because my words/thoughts get jumbled when communicating.

Hi Ernst,

Sometimes a planet shares a sign with a cusp, but is significantly closer to a different cusp (in a different sign). Does that matter?
