Hi Ernst,

My neighbours had a small fire today outside of their home, and I had to call the fire department. In the Card Combinations manual, you mentioned that a an Ace of Diamonds followed by a Spade can indicate a fire. In my daily spread for today there is no Ace of Diamonds but there is a lot of Spades, including the King of Spades. I'm also currently running the Ace of Spades (Mercury) period in my year spread. I'm attaching my daily spread here. The fire occurred around 2:40 pm. Are there any other indications for fire that you can see in this spread?

If I may answer, while waiting for Ernst? Your Mars card was ruling during that time, with the 8 of cusps for accidents in it. Mars was in your Venus card, Jack of Diamonds, which can be read as (high potential) Ace of Diamonds. I guess he can play with matches too. So there you have your igniting factor. You were on the 5 of Clubs path that day; maybe a shift of consciousness and understanding triggered by the event? Working in the King of Spades death card from 00.25 (if you´ve seen the new Earth shadow course) - so maybe at night you thought about this, contemplating upon the fragility of life, arriving to some worthwhile conclusions?

@meyes Actually, by night time, it pretty much felt erased from my memory, as if it never happened in the first place. I've noticed this happens to me regularly when something traumatic or shocking occurs. All I have to do is get lost in something else for a few hours or take a nap, and the negative feelings about it go away. I think that might be an effect of my Saturn in the 4th house. There were other things on my mind that night however, so this 5 of Clubs part is definitely true. And I see what you mean about the Jack of Diamonds— of course he would have a strong Ace of Diamonds theme.

I was thinking the King of Spades on the Venus card might represent the fire fighters themselves, as the King is the highest authority of the Spades suit and someone specialized who you would only call in an emergency. And then of course the Spades represent the fire element. And maybe the Ace of Clubs Rahu card represents the foreign quality of the call itself. Which kind of makes sense in this case because I've never had to call 911 before, so I was kind of afraid and shaking a bit as it was happening.

Mars is relevant as the lord for the Mars card, of course. Also represents fire.
