While studying an event with Kala's predictive transits tool this question arose:
WHy doesn't kala recognize the conjunction of D40 4cusp lord Ju and the Su, the self karaka in the sky as the condition: The Varga Bhava lord joins, aspects, Rasi aspects or trines the Sun or Atmakaraka, and colors the screen in violet accordingly? I am looking at 7house event and other transits show as expected, but this piece of table doesn't light up.
For D60 varga lord conjunct the Su the table is colored, but for D40 the Su place is empty and Ju is recognized as 4lord, but it doesn't color.

Can you share the screenshot of the trigger screen?
@ernst After sleeping on it, maybe the reason is that I should look for 7cusp in D40 bhava and not the 4th since I am looking at the event of meeting a partner? Also another thought: Could it be that D40 may not light up on your first date if you don't fall in love that evening, especially if D40 is about subjective feelings of highs and lows?
@ernst Thank you. I think I unnecessarily wanted to involve 4cusp lord from D4 while 7th lord would be needed. If I remember correctly the 4th lord in D40, 9th lord of D45 and 12th lord in D60 play some role in tranists, but in your rectification videos you don't use them. Are they used for broad aspects?
@ernst So I can use them like varga lagna lords in trigger transits. But why didn't you look for them in your rectification videos? And does kala Predictive Transit software consider these three alternatives, namely D45 9lord, D40 4lord and D60 12lord?
