@ernst Thanks, that' s just what I needed to know. By using these cusp lords as alternative varga lagna lords I can hopefully get some birth times closer to the given time than without using them.
I just need to add on a related note that Kala in Predictive transit didn't detect the transiting 7th lord rasi aspecting the lagna lord in Rasi when searching for Saptamsa and Jupiter transits.
I guess it is alright. According to the text of Predicting with transits course, for rasi a transiting bhava lord aspecting the natal lagna lord doesn't count. Can we use Ve as karaka in a woman's chart for D7 dating stuff, or only Ju as Ve is a navamsa karaka?
