hi ernst, when you teach the timing technique with the mudda dasa, you determine the combined planet dignities solely through the varga in question,  however, temporary dignity of a planet in parashara system as you teach these days is based on the sky position of that planet as represented in the rasi.

which way to determine dignity in the varshaphal should we follow ?  if we use the temporary relationship of a planet according to the varshaphal year chart(as it is in the sky), the example of the al gore and bush election year doesnt seem to work that well, can you please advise which way should be followed in varshaphal with regard to determining dignity of a planet in the vargas?
