in the descreption of the mahaparusha yoga it says
"The conjunction of one of the luminaries, the Sun or the Moon,
with the Pancha Mahapurusha Yoga-forming planet is an obstruction
to the effects of the Mahapurusha Yoga. In this case the
characteristic effects of the Mahapurusha Yoga is greatly diminished.
The dasa of the planet forming the Mahapurusha Yoga, however, will
still be a period of success, since a luminary in an angle with a strong
planet will certainly provide success."
i would like to ask if in the case of Saturn exa in libra in the 4th with the sun (deb)or even in a case where there is a sasa yoga with sun conj but not debilitated, would the dasa of Saturn, can still give success ? psychologically one would be affected by the hard Saturn/ sun lajjitadi avashta expression, and with sasa yoga which its strength is motivated by the native's fear, the conjunction with the sun which reduces greatly the confidence of the native and its ability to persevere difficulties, does that not going to reduce greatly the productivity of Saturn to create success? also there is no sign that both sun and saturn can together be in a good natural dignity which means that the ability to turn this conjunction and overcome the psychological conflict is reduced greatly no?( mutual yoga karaka consideration)
so what i am asking is with regard to that part mentioning the success of the dasa of a planet with this yoga , is this also applicable to sasa yoga?
Yes, even with sasa yoga. YOu will have the sun or moon in an angle, and its lord in the angle in good dignity. So that lord, will give effects of the sun or moon in its dasa. BUt yes, the avashta will still be there, so when sun and saturn or moon and saturn join, its not fulfilling, but it will be successful in this case. Feeling happy and success have nothing in common!
@ernst,hi there, i do understand the coexistence of both the avashta and success what i am not so clear about is that part: "So that lord, will give effects of the sun or moon in its dasa." can you elaborate on that? is that because of the manifesting affect of the lord of a sign? if yes what about Sasa yoga in angel in libra? saturn is exa there and still going to separate the sun and the sign and the house, and the sun in a debilitated dignity, how can the expression/separation of that debilitated sun sit with that idea of success ?
ok, that is what i thought and to expand on that in that specific case of sasa exa SA would that period of Saturn dasa (with that deb sun conjunct) would still give success?
