Saturn rules the 5th and 6th for Virgo lagna; Sankha yoga is when the 5th and 6th lords are on mutual angles and the lagna strong.

So what does "mutual" mean in this context? Anything but conjunction?

Since no Virgo lagna seems to have Sankha yoga.

I believe it's the 5th and 6th lord in either 1,4,7 or 10 to each other, conjunction is an angle so I believe it counts for this.  I think the reason Virgo can't have Sankhya yoga  (1st type) is not the conjunction stipulation but because the 5th and 6th lords are the same planet and thus can not be on mutual angles.  I tested this with Pisces lagna and put Sun and the Moon together and Kala still reports Sankhya Yoga on the Core Yogas screen.  Could be interesting for Virgo Lagna to use Uranus for 6th lord and test results.

@quasar259 Right... It´s angles from the lagna, not angles in relation to each other.

But then, if a yoga requires an angular relation between the involved planets, how does is that described, do you know?

@staffan to clarify, 5th and 6th lords are determined by the lagna, then those 5th and 6th lords have to be on 1,4,7, or 10 from each other.  The 5th and 6th lords can be in any rasi from the lagna and not necessarily on an angle.  In the previous Pisces example Sun and Moon were in 2nd house of Aries and making Sankhya yoga.

@quasar259 For the record, Madonna is a Virgo lagna with Mercury in the lagna, exalted, so a strong lagna. Saturn in an angular house,  the 4th. Still no Sankha yoga according to Kala.

@staffan for the first type of Sanhkya yoga, lagna lord only needs to be strong, not in an angle to the 5th or sixth lords.  5th and 6th lords need to be on angles from each other.

@quasar259 So then all Virgo with strong lagna should get it, since it takes only one planet to form for example a Kendra/Kona yoga, if it´s both an angular and trine lord. Don´t you think?

@staffan these are two different yogas.  Virgo may have the Kendra/Kona and yet not the Sankhya.  Perhaps one could research Kendra/Kona yoga involving 1,5&6 Lds for Virgo giving results similar to Sankhya yoga.  The mechanism for Sankhya yoga seems to be in the relationship (energy exchange) between planets, the logic would follow that if 5th and 6th are the same planet then there is no potential angular relationship between them to activate this particular yoga.  Also researching the source of that yoga to see what other yogas are given with it could be helpful.

@quasar259 Yes... There are other indiciations for healer of course, but still: or no Virgo lagnas has this yoga, or all of them have it (if the Lagna lord is strong). The effect of either should be notable.

But Ernst is a Virgo lagna himself; if he says there is no Sankhya yoga he has probably given it a thought or two.
