6 years ago I had a birth rectification done since there no time of birth on birth certificate, only my mothers memory of my birth time. I had it done by Bharat Ram who I found through Arjun Pai webite cosmic insight. ( when I was learning about Vedic astrology)
Birth rectification is very tricky and time consuming to get accurate time of birth. Questions on events in life I have seen several pages worth.
He asked for 10 important life events which I gave but not with exact dates
he inquired further on the month of some events. I got report with rectification aligning events of moon etc. with new birth time. I’ve had 3 reading done which did not sit right with me.
please chime in if you had birth rectification done and who did it as I don’t know if many astrologers do them any more since they are very time consuming.

A good astrologer can rectify a chart to the asc with a few key life events. But to get the actual accurate time within 10 minutes will requires some exact dates of events. The fact that he asked about a particular month for timing means he probably used vimshottari dasa down to 3 levels and with that one cannot get the accurate time.
