I was thinking about Sri Yukteswars yuga theory and how tropical signs and sidereal nakshatras change with respect to each other.

It seems obvious then that the relationship between them probably has a lot to do with the different ages.

I'm wondering if anybody has looked into this at all?

For example, finding a proposed date of the highest Satya Yuga, then seeing where the nakshatras fall with respect to the signs, then doing that for the lowest Kali Yuga, etc. and considering interpretations thereof.

At the nadir of Kali yuga ashwini would be conjunct the spring equinox. At the apex of Satya yuga, I believe chitra would be conjunct the spring equinox.

If we use tropical rasis and then sidereal nakshatras, then the meanings are different. Two different circles of interpretation.

When you say the meanings are different and they are two different circles of interpretation, it seems to me what you mean is that, for example, we shouldn't interpret nakshatras as having qualities of the signs they are in and vice-versa, e.g., "how Magha be anywhere but Leo"...well, Magha and Leo derive their meanings and energies from two different places that are not necessarily related.

Yet, the planets are in both a rashi (and aditya) and nakshatra, so inevitably, Mars at 0 degress Aries in Ashvini will be different than Mars at 0 degrees Aries in Chitra, will be different than Mars at 0 degrees Aries in Mula.

My suggestion is that this relationship between the signs and nakshatras influences the energies and manifestations of the age. And that by considering this we can learn something about the ages.

Yes, that is a valid idea and one I have worked on since I got involved with Astrology. Its really a mind boggling thing to think about, especially if you consider what nakshatras a planet is exalted in during a different age.
