One of the connotations of the 7 of Spades as a description card, is that it's being faced with a person or a situation that's making you face yourself and it hurts because you're not ready to face yourself yet. And it can represent depression because you don't know how to face yourself yet. So perhaps this person triggers you in this way, and thus helps you to grow as a person or push beyond your personal/spiritual limitations.
I interpret is as: when we view someone spiritually, we are viewing the 'good' in them. What you consider to be 'good' in him, is his power to end something or cause a crisis. Whether this is interpreted as 'good' by most people is not the issue, it is what you see as good.
as this is the what you see as thier best quality, it is always a good result. So you have toread the 7 of Spades as a positive card, so positive qualities of that card. .ability to get over themselves. 7 of spades is death of the lower self, of the ego, so a person who can get over themselves, thier needs, etc. and be present.
Wow, I did not realise there were so many replies. Appologies for the delay in getting back on here. Very helpful! Many thanks!
If I look at Ernst's interpretation (the ability to get over himself, his needs, and be present), then yeah, maybe there's something to that. I definitely see him as quite strong, capable, and at times, he can be a good listener.
He's a bit vulnerable underneath though - I think he has cancer rising and a pisces Sun - but he won't easily show it, and gets cocky instead (Leo moon). That prevents him from being really authentic, all the time. So he's on and off. Vulnerable, real, open one moment (he told me he feels safe around me), cocky, distant, the next.
Thanks for pitching in everyone!
