I am trying to understand the dynamics of man’s Ketu on a woman’s Moon. What exactly is being worked out in this case? Her being gentle and emotional with him? Who ends up leaving in this case - the man or the woman? Is there a way for them to stay together? Also, if there are planets in Cancer, do those also come into the equation?
@ernst Hi Ernst, I'm looking at the compatibility of a newlywed couple.
-Man's Ketu on Woman's Moon (waxing)
-Woman's Rahu on Man's Ascendant + Moon (waxing)
-Man's Rahu on Woman's Ascendant
Since the woman's Rahu is conjunct his Moon and his Ketu is conjunct her Moon, would this indicate that the nurturing from the woman will be something that can continue to be sustained over time, instead of becoming emotionally draining for her? Also, can the same be said for the attraction between them? This couple has never lived together yet, but they have been together since 2018. She's doing her residency in another city, and he works as a researcher at a University. They come together on the weekends. I'm wondering if the influence of the Nodes on each other's Moons has something to do with this?
Also, does the fact that both of their Rahu is conjunct one another's Ascendant make this a relationship that has long term potential?

@kam Must be confusing, maybe in a positive way. Like waking up with a stranger every new day. I mean the Ra/Asc conjunctions. "Who are YOU? Oh, right, now I remember, you are my spouse..."

@meyes It doesn't seem so bad, actually. They're all about the other person. He just wants to make her happy and help her become successful, and she likes having a partner that she can remind to take care of themselves.
So a lot of powerful node conjunctoins here, one person has lagna and moon on their node and the other has lagna on thier node, so that will create a VERY strong pull and desire towards each other. The person who has Moon on their rahu will especially feel that as hte Moon on Rahu feels magical to rahu. The moon person will really show the rahu person a new way of life and being. The rahu person will really want to care for the moon person. The thought of the Moon person suffering is not acceptable to the Rahu person.
This has a lot of long term potentioal because the rahu connections show they each embody something the other needs to learn to be.

I can confirm that this part in bold is very true. The husband is diabetic. They had a fight at their wedding because his wife was demanding that he eat something immediately or check his blood sugar level until her bridesmaid stepped in and asked her to back off with her love, because just because he isn't checking his blood sugar right now, doesn't mean he will die and doesn't mean he loves her less, both of which she seemed convinced would happen. Another time, she got mad at him for eating popcorn saying, "You know you have teeth like glass!" and he responded "Yeah but you can fix them!" So she definitely cares passionately about him and his health, and she really loves being the person to remind him to take care of himself.
will two people having the same lagna lord esp in good dignities add to a relationship, if at all ?
@scoobydoo Its always good to look for similiaries between two people, so yes, same lagna lord gets them on track. Sames houses as focal houses with planets also gets them on the same track.
There is a lot of nurtering in the relationship. THe Moon person may give to much and get drained, so its usulaly the Moon person who leaves if someone leaves, but it can be long lasting.
Would the Moon person giving less help the relationship to last longer in the case of man’s Ketu on woman’s Moon? How does Ketu work in this instance?
In this same case, the woman’s Ketu falls on the man’s Venus. What is happening in this case? The man does not see her as the ideal partner? Or actually sees her as his ideal partner?
Do Ketu conjunctions always end or is there a saving grace?
THe moon person just has to be sure not to get drained.
with venus and ketu the venus person gives a lot of love to the ketu person, the ketu person does not have to give as much back and still the relationship seems balanced. Often with ketu conjunctions the other planet has to give more to the ketu person. This is really interesting when its a malefic conjunction, then at some point the malefic planet has to actively hurt the ketu, it does that as a favor to push the person out of the ketu house, but its no fun when that kick comes. A benefic to ketu gives a lot to the ketu person, it can last forever, it may not, it will last as long as its required to create a balance.
So in the case where the man’s Ketu falls on woman’s Moon and woman’s Ketu falls on man’s Venus, as long as the planets don’t overdo it, the nurturing part of the Moon and the loving part of Venus should balance each other, and they could have a harmonious life. Is that correct? Of course, it may end too, but it could end harmoniously, right?
When you say “create a balance” as in where the planet person learns it’s lesson of not overdoing it?
@manisha Have you fully explored the videos Ernst has on Rahu Ketu in relationships? (part of the Mastering Rahu and Ketu course) 🙂 I found it super important.
@nkanarieva A couple of years have passed since I started this thread as part of going through Ketu maturation and I seem to have come to grips with Ketu. I do need to revisit the course at some point and I am sure I will see more in it.
