What kind of impact has a compatibility where Mahendra is not present between the Moons but between four other planets? In this case the compatibility score between Moons is quite good with 21 points.

The prime planet we use to look for connection is the moon, the child mind planet that is seeking connection in the first place. The basic connection of the moon has to be functional. Then the other 5 elemental planets are all manifestations from the moon, so them being functional in comparison allows the moon to connect when using these planets, if not, when using these planets the connection is disturbed. But the connection is still happening in the moon, so it does help emotional relationships to have these planets connecting. But if the moons are not functioning, it will not be enough.
@ernst Let's say the compatibility is good here. But when one looks at the D-9 and analyzing the Navamsa deities Deva, Nri and Rakshasa, one sees the planets Navamsa deities for the husband and wife charts are opposite of each other. One chart is mostly in Deva and the other mostly in Rakshasa, doesn't this imply even though they are compatible, but they are on conflicting paths. In the long run they probably would not stay together despite of being compatible?
Putting it another way, let's say the compatibility is Not great but both charts share the same path, the planets Navamsa deities are either the same or Nri, so perhaps they dont get a long great but because they share the same path, they might stay together in the long run?
Is this the correct way of interpreting about the Navamsa deities? It would just add another dimension to compatibility. I have seen people who love each other but simply on different paths and they would not stay together. This would somewhat explain it....

If the same planets are in the same deva, nri, rakshasa, then teh two people will share a mindset on those planets that will make them feel like they can really relate, that they see things the same way. However, its not going to make or break the relationship. But if other factors are good, and if the people are capable of using those planets well, good avasthas, then they will feel very, very good with each other. But if one person can't use th at planet, it will leas to a disappointment as they will see the same way, but not be able to act out the vision.
