Hi Ernst, 

Is gandanta something you teach or ascribe to? Modern 'pop vedic astrologers' really like using this when a planet goes into the last degrees of a water sign, first degrees of a fire sign.

Yes, its covered in the muhurta course. Its important to not over emphasize it and use it for the right thing. It is over used by modern astrologers.
