In my own chart Saturn conjuncts the Ascendant within a 10 minute radius.
I've also seen a few chats with a planet in conjunction with the ascendant.
How do we interpret this ?
Planets in the asc are very important as they set a baseline for the person. If the planet is in a good lajjitaadi avastha, it shows a healthy baseline that really helps them progress due to using the qualities of that planet in a healthy way. If the planet is in a bad lajjitaadi avastha, it shows a baseline of having trouble due to using the planet in ways that don't work.

But is there a difference when the planets in the ascendant are also on the ascendant degree? or it dose not matter on how close they are to the exact degree of the ascendant.
