I'm taking the video class "Principles of Kendra/Trikona Yogakarakas and Nature of House Lords". In this video, while discussing the special rules on the 8HL (at around 54 minutes), you say
"If 8HL is conjunct yoga producing planets, it’s not going to boost that yoga. Even if it is with another trikona lord, or even if it rules another trikona"
A few sentences further down, however, you say
"But if the 8HL rules a trikona like 5/9/1, then it can boost the yogakarakas it is with and will boost effects"
I guess I'm confused, firstly whether these are indeed contradictory statements, and secondly if they are, which statement is the one to go with.

These rules are tricky, which is why I am finding it best to clarify if I have the slightest doubt. And different authors have different opinions, so it gets fairly confusing pretty soon.
