Hi Ernst,

I am trying to figure out how to correctly determine if a planet is in the Sun or Moon Hora for the Hora chart. I would like to give you an example and my analysis. Please let me know if I am on the right track as this is a little confusing for me:

The Rasi chart has Sun in Capricorn at let's say 11 degrees so it is in the first half of Capricorn; therefore, in the Hora chart the Sun stays in Capricorn and the Sun is in the Moon hora in the Hora chart. The Sun should be in the Sun hora and not the Moon hora as the Sun is a male planet...

In the Rasi Mars is also in Capricorn at 21 degrees so Mars is in the second half of Capricorn; therefore, in the Hora chart Mars goes to Cancer and Mars is in the Sun hora of the Hora chart. Mars should be in the Sun hora as it is a male planet

In the Rasi the Moon is in Leo at 20 degrees so it is in the second half of Leo; therefore, in the Hora chart the Moon goes to Acquarius and the Moon is in the Moon hora of the Hora chart. The Moon should be in the Moon hora as it is a female planet. So that is good

In the Rasi Venus at 12 degrees in the Acquarius so Venus is in the first half of Acquarius; therefore, in the Hora chart Venus stays in Acquarius and Venus is in Sun hora of the Hora chart. Venus should be in the Moon hora as it is a female planet

In the Rasi Saturn is at 20 degrees in Acquarius so Saturn is in the second half of Acquarius; therefore, in the Hora chart Saturn goes to Leo and Saturn is in the Moon hora of the Hora chart. Saturn is a female planet and should be in the Moon hora

Mercury is in Virgo at 16 degrees so Mercury is a female planet because it is in an even sign. It is in the second half of Virgo; therefore, in the Hora chart Mercury goes to Pisces and Mercury is in the Sun hora of the Hora chart. Since Mercury here is considered a female planet it should be in a the Moon hora instead of the Sun hora.

Is my analysis correct? Thx much!

Hi Tuyet,

Your analysis is correct. Only Saturn isn’t a female planet, it’s a neuter. But, it wants to be loved and appreciated for who he is and not what he does so it’s best in Moon’s hora. Otherwise, all else looks good.

@suzanstars  Thx !!!- yes Saturn is a neuter so i was surprised that Ernst said it is to be treated as a female planet for the purpose of this analysis...
