Hi Ernst
In concrete analysis course, you explained Jaimini telling about focal bhavas - 3,6,5,4,8,12. So that helps us know the path of the native where his body is careering down.
Why he would consider remaining bhavas 2,7,9,10,11 as non focal? Not really important?

Also he says to find these focal bhavas through AK and Lagna Lord only. Why he doesn't mention Sun to find these focal bhavas?

So, in the natural zodiac, he considers the signs of the Sun, the Moon, the two signs of Mercury, the feminine sign of Mars and the feminine sign of Jupiter, as being important.
He doesn’t consider the two signs of Venus, the two signs of Saturn and the masculine sign of Jupiter, as being as important.
