Venus, moon or jupiter in the pada makes one a shri mahanta right?

Or an exalted planet.

Then there's also a rule that pada upada and svamsha can be read the same way right?

Does that mean people who have venus, moon or jupiter or an exalted planet as their atmakaraka automatically become shrimahanta or atleast get a point towards it ?

And does the same with upapada mean their partner is an shrimahanta? That's kinda in the sutras too i just wanna confirm on the AK thanks..

No, the rule is that the results of svamsa apply to pada. That does not mean the results of pada apply to svamsa.

@ernst so they only go once for the next ?

But we also saw the pada rise and success from the 11 from the upapada?

Can u explain which rules apply to which one pls I'm confused.

So we can't look at self factors of svamsa from the upapada?

@ernst Just need a clarification here related to this topic. So are all the following statements correct? -

1) The results of svamsa are applied in D9 w.r.t svamsa

2) The results of pada are applied in D1 w.r.t pada

3) The results of svamsa are applied in D1 w.r.t pada

Also, is this 4th statement true?

4) The results of svamsa are applied in D1 w.r.t svamsa
