Hi Ernst,

I just finished watching video 34. "Bhamsa, 3rd Bhava and Will" of the Jaimini course for beginners. In the course you say that the bhamsa shows the overall strength of will of a person. My question is: Is it more important to have Mars, the planet of will, strong in the bhamsa or in the Rasi chart? It seems like overall, the Rasi chart would still be the most important chart to consider (because this is where you would find strong yogas related to Mars, for example).

Yes, best to have mars good in the rasi chart. also, the lord of mars in the bhamsa, that planet's condition in the rasi is very important as well.

I have a very similar question. What are you supposed to be healing if Mars is DB in Rasi (gets support of friend moon) and has no or very little Mercury starvation, it's not agitated, and Mars has good/very good dignities in all other vargas.

just a little bit from mercury is all. Nothing wrong with a DB mars.
