Dear Ernst

I have noted in Kala that in 1887, for the place ERODE in INDIA, time difference between GMT and IST is GMT + 5.20.59. But in general, we follow GMT + 5.30.

Which time difference should be used for getting ideal results? GMT + 5.20.59 or GMT + 5.30.

5:30 is only in ffect aftr time zone conventions were adopted, before that it varied from place to place.
