@Ernst In our study group tonight we discovered that the 2018 version of Kala is different than the updated version when comparing the total value of the Lajjitaadi Avasthas Calculations. I am the only person in the group that has the 2018 version of Kala and everyone else has the updated version. All of their total values are the same, but mine were not. Has this come up before?

Yes, its still agitation. But lajjitaadi avastha is always only one factor of a planet. The yogas will have their effects, the basic predictive principles will apply, etc. ALso, lajjitaadi avasthas can be qualified based on subha phala, dig bala, uccha bala and chestha bala. Life is always a mixed pot.
