Hi Ernst,

Let us say there is a planet having a bad lajjitadivastha (with multiple friend/enemy influences on it) in one of the uccha/chestha/dig levels.

Also, let us say one of the friends is able to help it out at that level.

By default (fate) the person will still be in the bad habit, but can get into a good habit (thanks to the available and capable friend) only if the samurai battle is initiated, right?

What exactly should happen for this samurai battle to get initiated?

Regards,

Anand

The battle is always happening within the person. At some point the person may suffer enough that they will decide to consciously focus on the battle.

Hi Ernst,

Thanks. I would like to understand the role of "conscious focus" a bit more.

Till the conscious focus happens, is it that the winner of the battle (the friend planet) is on standby to switch the helped planet to good habit, since it won the battle, but the enemy planet is still having its impact (bad habit)? If this is the case, it would justify the need to consider every bad laajjitadivastha we have, since they are all enabled by default.

If the good habit automatically takes over without conscious focus, then conscious focus is only required when a friend is not available or powerful enough, right? If this is the case, we need not worry about every bad laajjitadivastha we have right? In this case we would have to go to the uccha/chestha/dig levels and only consider the prevailing bad habits?

Please help to clarify which of the above scenarios is actually happening, thanks.

Regards,

Anand

a habit is something we do all the time. So good and bad habits are always present. Which wins? The stronger. If you contemplate ourselves and see our good and bad habits we can start empowering the good and relinquishing the bad.

Got it. My understanding now is:

Let us say I have shamed Mars. If its friend is winning the war, I might display "habits of Mars" traits with a labored struggle against distracting thoughts. If the enemy wins the battle, I will be lacking in the "habits of Mars" traits. Either way, bringing conscious freedom into play alleviates the struggle and improves the quality of focus of Mars.

So improving a planet from shamed to proud state through freedom (free will/won't) moves the planet from "distractions (thoughts)" to "a zen like meditative focus".

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Regards,

Anand

Yes, that's a good way to look at it.
