Hi, I have here a person who is born on the bright Moon. In D1 the focus goes to Mars Thirsting Saturn in Vishnu with a full Rupa, no benefic aspects, in fact Saturn receives Kendra aspect from all it's enemies. Further there is rasi aspects with the nodes. Ketu is conjunct Jupiter though but in Bhaga (Kala).

My question is in regards to Saturn's conjunction with Moon in the D20. Here Moon is 12th from the Sun. Do I consider this a Paapa Graha as waning Moon conjunct Saturn or is the bright Moon to be considered from D1, which then excludes the impairment?

It is always a bright Moon no matter the varga. The Moon will always be a benefic if it is waxing in D1.

@jarot That's contrary to the deeptaadi exercises in the course. Ernst always looks for planets with a vikala or kopi deeptaadi avastha in Varga even in the PAC exercises. May i ask on what basis you would asses conjunctions only to be seen in D1?
