Is it also more difficult if the lord of the sign containing a stellium of bad avashtha planets is debilitated?

Or does it starve the planets in the sign it rules less severely since it would be weak through debilitation?

Debilitation is more fated, but maybe there is some hidden wisdom that a planet can have access to when it passes through that area. Otherwise it would remain naive, sheltered, and blissfully ignorant.

Or maybe that planet goes into shock and has an NDE or a "stroke" when it goes into the db area. And the planet spends much of the natives life in a rehabilitation wing trying to learn how to function from scratch.

Or maybe the native has to "date" that planet and get to know it, or its like catching up with an estranged or long-lost friend.

@mitryendra80 This is a good question and I'm interested in the answer as well.

I learned recently through another post that planets that are debilitated don't have a "debilitated avashta' per say, other than the avashta of the sign they're in. For example, starved for the Sun, delighted for Venus, etc.

But I have always wondered the degree of strength that a debilitated planet has with which to starve or shame another planet. Or in the case of the Sun, whether it's debilitation negates the strength of combustion to another planet.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I remember Ernst saying that he no longer uses different Avashtas at the same time.

From what I remember from the beginner's Avashta course, he used to consider planets that were debilitated to be asleep and then not be able to hurt other planets as much within the context of Lajitaadi Avasthas. But I don't think he does that anymore.

But if the planet rules a stellium, I'm not sure the rule I mentioned applies, because it's the dispositor.

There was a time I tried to adjust the Lajjitaadi influence based on the Jagrad and Balaadi avashtas. However, I now dont think that is correct. I never mix those three avashtas into one soup AT THE SAME TIME.

what i do, is i give differnet Avasthas differnet importance depending on the dasa level. Shayanaadi to maha dasa, Lajjitaadi to Antar Dasa, Deeptaadi for pratyantar, Jagrad for sookshma and Balaadi for Prana Dasa. That is how i am experimenting with it currently.
