Hello Forum,

I am healing my careerpath and want to improve my dainya yoga between SA/MA and the 8th and 10th.

Do I see this correctly, that there are no tough starving or ashamed avashstas on saturn and mars?
Except from Mercury starving mars a bit and moon starving saturn?

I also have Saturn aspect Mars heavily and I have them conjunct in the 5th in the D10.

There is not a really clear conclusion I can draw from this yet, except that I think I can allow myself to enjoy my creativity more to flow freely and do more things I actually enjoy in my work ( SA/MA in 5th Bava in 10th)

And maybe also let go of fear, guilt and old trauma (Saturn in 8th) and be more patient.

Or maybe just STOP and let go of of astrology and enjoy my day, because I am digging since two days in my chart.  😀 😀 Like Ernst mentions in his Video about Saturn. Sometimes we need to stop when there is nothing coming out of it.

ps. there is a screenshot of my chart attached above.

pps. and also I want to mention, that I had an Argument with my Girlfriend about that. She told me that she can not hear about this topic anymore and thinks I waste too much time finding the answer in Astrology. And I myself am also very split about this. On one hand, I feel that I have so much to learn and that there are a lot of obstacles in my life.

On the other hand, I sometimes feel drained and miserable after looking at my chart for hours and not knowing If I made any progress on that issue with my career. Maybe I just use astrology to procrastinate. But I am not sure where my path ahead is. This is how I feel right now.

You have Saturn shaming mercury (being too attached to certain possibilities thus not exploring others) and mars starving saturn (trying to fix someone else's problem or trying to fix problems in ways which doesn't work which can result in energetic disturbances in the body) that can be found by quick glance of your attached chart.

You have AK Sun debilitated too who is the karaka of career.

@amit Thanks Amit for clarification. This actually makes a lot of sense.

can somebody clarify which the best and strongest avashta´s are? Looks like Mars is pretty strong and unafflicted. This could be the planet who could help with my career and my life in general. Although Mars is involved in the Dainya Yoga between 8th and 10th.

@sorastra

The avasthas mentioned by Amit seem the most important ones:

  • Saturn is starved by Mars
  • Mercury is both starved and shamed by Saturn: Mercury especially because it doesnt receive any positive avastha influence

Additionally:

  • Venus starves Sun
  • Moon starves Venus, Saturn and Mercury to some level

As you rightly noticed, Mars is pretty strong facing only slight starvation from Mercury. Even Jupiter, who is debilitated, has mostly positive avasthas.

So, the combination of Mars and Jupiter in 10th is what would keep your path strong in doing big things in career (though deb Jupiter may not bring the best situations)

But the planets in 8th house are under tough avasthas and need the healing on priority

@rajan This all makes complete sense and I am very grateful to have found this forum.

I will take Ernst his advise on shamed mercury seriously. If you have any additional advise how to proceed to heal my 8th house avasthas, please let me know.

Because I want to do big things in life. I feel that I am capable of more then what I have achieved so far.

I would get an actual reading from someone, or, learn the avasthas yourself to really understand.

@scott-m-19 can you recommend somebody for a reading? I am looking at my D10 and either I am having a really tough D10 Chart, or I do not really understand what I am doing there.

Laura Barat is accessible at the moment. You can google her. She is very skilled with the methods taught here. On the vedic-astrology.net website of Ernst he has a list of practitioners that you can connect with too.

Though the best readings are from the astrologer that 'comes to you'. Meaning the ones your friends love and tell you about, or the one you feel deeply connected to. The best readings are the ones God sends.
