Recently been dealing with some internal issues relating to women that have produced some financial distress. I was wondering if anyone has specific practical measures rooted in an ancient astrological text that a man could pursue to ameliorate such issues generally.

Can you be more specific? Does it have to do with women as a gender or a specific woman? As the Moon rules women and Venus rules the woman as a partner in a man's life, this would make a difference as you could do remedies for either of these planets, or both.
I would try donating money to women. If they are causing you to lose money then you may as well make it a voluntary donation to feel better about the transaction.
@karinia If he has been taken advantage of financially by women, or feel that he has, it´s probably not the best advice.

Here is the thing about woman. they are the moon. Men are the sun. So the moon reflects. What you give to a woman, is reflected back. Not necessarily directly from that woman!, haha. So just keep treating women well. Don't let yourself be manipulated by women, that enables them, does not help them, so it's not treating them well. Sometimes we need hard love.
A fun story from when I was getting married. I had been away, hawaii and then india for almost 2 years. Had no money no car, no place in the US to live. I was working in India, for the fun, not the money and was hardly getting paid, just enough for food and paying my medical bills from falling off a cliff the year before. I met my wife Srishti, proposed, came back to the US to get her a visa. I am sleeping on anyone's couch I can. I am broke. waiting for the INS to get a visa so i can go back to india, need money for that, to bring Srishti back to us.. so what do I do? I stay at my friends tiffanies house for a few days. I treat her well, I buy her lunch when we are doing some errand and she gets hungry. I stay at my astrobuddy at the time Lisa's house. She comes home from work, tired, her kids are hungry, she decides to take us all to eat, I insist on paying, though I am broke.
I visit tiffany again to go visit her mystical healing teacher. She then says, its normal to give a donation, i am like, ugg, hand over 100. Then they decide it's time to go eat at the korean resturant across the street. I pay for everyone.
I am back at Lisas, go buy a fridge full of food for her and the kids, though I am broke. I keep this up.
3 months later I go to India with several thousand dollars to bring Srishti home with me partly due to using the mirror effect of woman to gain prosperity.
I have seen this work many times. I have seen men start to treat their woman badly, cruelly, maybe hit them, and i predict, something bad is gonna happen, he punched a mirror, and something troubling happens to him.
The best thing about woman is that using them to make your life better simply means taking good care of them and always pay the bill.
And yeah, that does not mean we don't have some hella karma with women. I have rahu in 7th, I can tell some horror stories... but in the end, taking care of them "bitch" mirrors, it was all reflected back to me eventually, though not through them.
