I am beginning to study medical astrology and I have what may be a stupid question. I've noticed that me, my husband, and our child all have Venus debilitated in our Trimsamsas. However, we all may have NBRY for that Venus. For me, though, I have Jupiter and Mercury conjunct. Does that count? In the audio, only being on an angle is mentioned but I think conjunction is an angle, correct?

Does the NBRY idea extend to grahas that are in any dignity (enemy for example)?

Also, is it common for everyone in the family to have similar karmas in their Trimsamsas? Our charts aren't quite the same regarding this. For example, my husband has all of the NBRY for his debilitated Venus whereas our son and I only have 1. With it being Venus, this suggests that it may show in our diet because we eat the same food.

My son has some eczema that appeared after the casting process to fix clubfoot. His Mercury is in friendly dignity but Virgo has that debilitated Venus there. I'm guessing it was Virgo that gave him the eczema?

Yes, conjunction is an angle. With these yogas, the db planet is the problem that makes a person use the other planets to succeed, so because of that trouble, they are motived to succeed more with the other planets. So no, it does not work for enemy planets, they are not motiving enough.
