Hi!

Does someone have any specific remedies or ideas that could help balancing Rahu in the following situation:

- Rahu alone in the 7th in Aquarius in D1
- Lord of Rahu Saturn with Moon and starved strongly in the 6th sign from Asc (Capricorn). Also agitated by Sun and helped by Mercury and Venus.
- Jaimini abdominal disease yoga in D1, both Rahu and Ketu aspecting 7th from Pada
- In D9 Rahu with AK and Ketu aspecting it
- Rahu/Venus/Rahu Dasa currently running
- Rahu transiting important house

So a lot of Rahu going on in this chart and it would need balancing as it is causing confusion and abdominal problems for the individual.

Also any remedies for balancing Rahu in the chart in general would be great!

Thanks!

You can always do the general rahu rig vedic mantras as given by Parashara and which i put in the Graha Sutras book. If you are running the antardasa of rahu, you can do the specific antardasa mantra for the dasa you are running and this is also found in Brihat Parashara Hora Sastra. On a phycological level you can do bach flower remedies as in the back flower remedies book.  and then there is the will power method, stop being scared of the rahu house and sign and just do it! haha, thats not easy! so better to do some of the other's.

Hi Ernst,

then there is the will power method, stop being scared of the rahu house and sign and just do it!

You talk about the illusion of Free Will, so what is the will power method? Is will power only available when facing Rahu, and Fate closes all doors and windows so that we can finally look into what we consider the scariest parts of ourselves?

Rahu is not even about looking into the scariest parts of ourselves, its simply confronting the fears that keep us from going to rahu and go to rahu anyway. People who have the courage to do that will do it more than those who don't.is that will power, no, not really, it looks like will power, but its not, its just how they are. We just call it that. There is no truth in language.

Thanks, Ernst. After looking at it from many different angles, I had begun to accept the illusion of free will, and I wondered if I had missed something. Can one even say that people have courage? Perhaps they have no choice in the matter. There is indeed no truth in language ????

@ernst Hello there, Guru Ernst. Can you elaborate more on the illusion of freewill or direct me to a video where you talk about this? Is your teaching still pretty much the same as in your video entitled: Astrology How to live #2 Astrology, fate and Freewill? I would like to contemplate this a bit. If your teaching has changed since that video, could you do an updated video? Thanks.

Vashishta said it best, you have to act like there is free will while knowing there is none. The brain can't process these concepts. That's not what its for. FOr me its easy. I have two choices, i can go with the idea of I make the difference, or i can go with the idea that god is the Omnipotent, omnipresent. With one of these ideas I am alone, with the other I am never alone. Its an easy choice.

If you have time, would you mind expanding on this. From what I have gathered so far, the cognitive intelligence lies in the brain. The more the brain resolves and understands, the more it releases its hold, thus allowing energy to flow naturally. To understand an abstract construct of “I am nothing and yet I can wield the power of the universe” or “I have nothing and yet the entire universe belongs to me”, does that not require the reasoning power of the brain? Or perhaps, this all belongs in the sacral chakra where Jupiter’s wisdom resides.

On the other hand, I have also come across information where there is a bit of unsurety as to whether the mind resides in the brain.

I am only 3-4 years into the occult world, still new at it, and trying to put different pieces of the puzzle together. I can see how it all works from a bird’s eye view, but haven’t gotten into the nitty-gritty of it yet.

@ernst if you have to choose, than how does that correlate to Vashishta's synthesis of acting according to one notion yet understanding according to another? Is this also a parallel to the relationship between language and truth?  The former directs the energy, is apparent yet insubstantial; the former is the abiding presence of what is, non-apparent yet actual reality?
