Hi Ernest, you’ve mentioned Human Design several times in the PAC course so I’m wondering if you would recommend your favorite book, website, etc., for how it works?

Thanks, and blessings,

Julli

That's a good question. I of course have my own views of many aspects of HD based on my knowledge of people gained from 30 years of studying astrology. I think most sources have something good and useful to them, at the same time, I feel most sources are not clear enough, or deep enough to provide the full capability of the system. So I say, start with whatever you find and then take time to THINK deeply beyond what the source is saying. Even what Ra, the founder, is saying, do that with his stuff. He has a sarcastic view of life which in my opinion hid some of the truths of humans and human design from him. though in the end, his stuff is the best to study as he had a very broad understanding of the concepts and what they really mean.

@ernst Maybe that´s the piece of information I needed to understand why I feel such an unease in relation to Human Design: A sarcastic view. I guess that´s the vibe I pick up. Not that I´m not sarcastic myself, sometimes. Try to learn not to be, though.

Good old astrology is good old astrology, and Cards of Truth is affordable; you basically charge for your working hours, not for your exclusive knowledge. That´s a completely different vibe, which in itself says a lot about which system is closest to the divine truth, I believe.

@staffan I am curious about the system since Ernst recommends it, and I love the I Ching and have always been intrigued by the Tree of Life, so was interested to see that this Human Design incorporates all of it…

@sattvala Human Design is a very logical system that synthesizes a bunch of other systems into it. It's elegant. But basically, it's just looking at the energy itself. I find it helpful to help advise people in how to use their energy most efficiently and correctly. If people are in alignment, this tool won't be needed. However, most people - we have a lot of conditioning from birth and even before birth, which we are trying to sift through, to ultimately become more aligned to our own divine nature. That's what I believe this system is extremely helpful for, to help in the alignment process. The tool allows us to have a short cut. I believe that was the purpose behind it being developed and given to humanity. As we are breaking down old patterns of giving our power away, we become more sovereign. But ultimately, if one is following one's own dharma, the tool isn't needed.

@suzanstars What a wonderful explanation – thanks! I’ve always been intrigued by the Tree of Life but have never taken the time to learn it so now I can do it all at once!

I was led to Vedic Astrology through Human Design and while I haven't been studying HD lately because I am focused on Vedic Astrology, I came to have what I think is a unique perspective on Human Design, one that I haven't heard articulated by other people.

I wrote a short article detailing some of what I learned. The article really deals with how to study Human Design, though I didn't intend to do that. The article does not seek to explain the system itself, because I can't say that I understand the system. I learned all of the basic common things of HD you will easily find if you search Google, but I came to believe that these concepts where not actually fundamental to the system and maybe aren't really good concepts at all. So the article seeks to explain why I came to think this and what I plan to do about it. Hopefully it might help you with your question.

what do people think of the basic premise of HD that Neutrinos are the carriers of much of the planetary information that effect us and responsible for the develop of the design aspects in the fetus?

@manisha Hi manisha, the app I've been using from the beginning of my journey with the system is called: Human Design App

It gives you a fair bit of information, even if you stay with the basic free version and don't get a subscription.

There's also this website that allows you to follow the daily transits with detailed descriptions of the Sun and Earth transits. This site is good because there is a free Knowledge Base with all the HD basic information included as well: https://www.humdes.com/en/transit/
